January & February ....Philip Lindsay worked for many years as a Psychiatric Nurse at a Treatment Centre dealing with post traumatic disorders, later concentrating on disturbed sleep patterns,
March....Our speaker for the February Meeting was due to be Emma Yates who was to give a talk on relaxation.
April.... Our speaker for the March meeting was our own Group’s Hon. President, Dr.P.D. Higham, and Cardiologist at Wansbeck General Hospital, just to ring the changes, he chose as his subject for the evening some of the more unusual medical problems of the heart; events that he may deal with on a monthly, yearly or even once in a working life time basis

June.... Our Heart Group is getting involved with Blood Pressure monitoring
July....When Berwick Area Heart Support Group, at short notice, asked me to give them a talk on Gardening & Health,
August....Our speaker for July was Kathleen McNish, Technical Officer with The Environmental Health Department at Berwick Borough Council.
September...Blood Pressure Tests & Teamwork Berwick Heart Support Group has always been interested in prevention as well as treatment.
October...We had a great talk from Joan Braund. She is a student dietician
November....Lynda Bankier, the Berwick Archivist, was our Speaker at the October meeting.
December.... David Banks, ex-Editor of The Daily Mirror, gave his talk, “From Crookham to Fleet Street and Back”
